Metropolitan Demolitions & Recycling has recently supplied 100 000 tonnes of DGB 20 recycled road base for the M5 West road widening project.
This will entail widening the current two lane M5 to a three lane freeway with the aim of reducing traffic congestion and providing capacity for anticipated heavy and light vehicle traffic. The new third lane has already been opened in the eastbound carriageway between Prestons and Liverpool. Our operations team state that;
“We are at the forefront for providing a certified DGB 20 recycled road base product. We achieve this through quality assured measures that comply with RMS Specification and EPA Licencing”.
Our recycled DGB 20 product is now widely known as a high quality product suitable for major civil infrastructure road works. This is one more example of the ways in which our ongoing revision of plant operations and transport ensures that we are able to continue meeting our client’s needs.
